Getting Started: Every Night Vision Product
Before your first hunt with any FireWolf night vision system or goggles:
- Charge fully. Charge the included 18650 batteries in the USB charger (or the unit itself over USB/USB-C for built-in batteries) until the indicator shows full.
- Insert the MicroSD card. The included 32GB card goes in the marked slot; format it in-device or as FAT32 on a computer before first recording.
- Practice in daylight first. Learn the buttons, day/night switching, zoom, and recording in day mode before your first night out.
- Test IR at night. The 850nm illuminator is invisible to your eye, so confirm it's working by looking at the screen, not the light itself. At most you'll see a faint red glow on the emitter.
Night Vision Scopes & Systems
M-PRO 2: Clip-On Night Vision System
Assembly: twist the eyepiece tube onto your riflescope with the Twist-Lock mount, attach the camera and screen, and clamp the 850nm IR torch to the barrel or rail. No tools are required, and it takes about 5 minutes.

M-PRO 5 & M-PRO 6: All-In-One Day & Night Scopes
Setup: mount on any standard 20mm Picatinny rail, insert a charged 18650 battery and the MicroSD card, power on, and use the on-screen menu to align the digital crosshairs with your zero. One button switches between full-color day mode and IR night mode. The M-PRO 6 operates the same way with 5× AI zoom and longer battery life. Manual pages (M-PRO 5 shown):

Clarity adjustment: if the image looks blurry after mounting, adjust focus as shown. Most "blurry image" issues are solved here, not by the camera.
BestSight™ Night Vision PRO 4
NK007 Plus & FireWolf™ C15 Thermal
Printed instructions are included in the box. Setup follows the same pattern as our other systems: charge, insert the MicroSD, mount, and practice in daylight. Goggles, Binoculars & Monoculars
Head Mounted 4K Goggles (NVG-G1)
Charge over USB, insert the MicroSD, then fit the head/helmet mount and adjust the straps until the 3″ screen sits comfortably in view. Cycle the 850nm illuminator through its 7 levels to match conditions: lower levels save battery at close range, and the max level reaches 250–300 yards.
NV8000 & 4K 3D Head-Mounted Goggles
These dual-screen models add an independent diopter ring on each eyepiece (±3°); adjust each eye separately until the image is sharp before your first use. Zoom combines true 4× optical with 8× digital. Recording saves 36MP photos and 4K video to the MicroSD; connect by USB to transfer footage. The 4K 3D model's helmet mount clips directly to the included MH-style shroud.
4K WiFi Goggles, FireWolf Goggles, Monocular & RIX RENV-M
Printed instructions are included with each. The same universal steps apply: charge, insert MicroSD, adjust focus/diopter, and test in daylight first. For the WiFi goggles, download the companion app printed in your manual to stream and transfer footage wirelessly. Electronic copies are available on request via our contact page.
Rifle Scopes & Sights
4x32 ACOG-Style Scopes (with or without RMR)
Mounting: clamp to any standard 20mm Picatinny/Weaver rail and torque evenly. Zeroing: adjustments are ½ MOA per click: at 100 yards, one click moves point of impact about ½ inch. Fire a 3-shot group, adjust windage and elevation toward center, and confirm. The fiber optic reticle needs no batteries and self-adjusts to ambient light. On the RMR version, zero the red dot separately after the main optic.
SS2 4x21 & BestSight™ 4-16x44
Mount and zero the same way. On the 4-16x44, set the adjustable objective (AO) ring to your target distance to eliminate parallax before final zeroing.
ROMEO5 Red Dot
Mounts on a 20mm rail. Shake Awake illumination powers the dot on when it senses motion and sleeps to save battery when still, so no on/off routine is needed. Zero using the included tool with the same 3-shot-group method.
Batteries & Power
- 18650 batteries: charge fully before first use, store around half-charge if unused for months, and never carry loose batteries against metal objects. Cold weather drains lithium cells faster, so keep spares in an inside pocket.
- Power banks: the M-PRO 5 and M-PRO 6 run 10+ hours connected to a standard USB power bank, ideal for all-night sits.
- 850nm IR Illuminator: the replacement illuminator fits all FireWolf night vision systems; thread or clamp it in place of the original.
Quick Troubleshooting
Screen won't turn on: Charge the battery fully and check it's inserted with correct polarity; then hold the power button for 3–5 seconds.
Image is blurry: Adjust the objective focus and the eyepiece/diopter (see the clarity adjustment diagram above). On dual-screen goggles, adjust each eye's diopter separately. Clean lenses only with the included cloth.
"I can't see the IR light": That's normal: 850nm infrared is invisible to the naked eye. Check the screen in a dark room instead; if the image brightens with the illuminator on, it's working.
Not recording / "memory error": Reseat the MicroSD card and format it in-device or as FAT32. Cards over 32GB are not supported on most models.
Short battery life: Lower the IR intensity and screen brightness; cold weather also reduces runtime. For all-night hunts, run a USB power bank (M-PRO 5/6) or carry charged spares.
Crosshairs don't match point of impact: Re-zero. On digital models, align the on-screen crosshairs via the menu after confirming your scope's mechanical zero; on glass optics, adjust ½ MOA per click from a 3-shot group.
